Coding: Online physics simulation

This is a program my classmate Olaf Jansen and I made in JAVA, using the engines Xith3D and ODEJAVA. It is a physics-simulation that simulates the movement of boxes, spheres, planes and simple cars in a 3D-world, using ODEJAVA for the actual simulation. To get this online we implemented a client-server architecture, where the server does the physics and the clients receive updates on positions, orientations and speeds of objects. Dead-reckoning is used to radically reduce the required number of packages. Each client gets three cars and can use the mouse to order his cars to move to specific locations and gather resources there. This application was made for a course about "Virtual Worlds" at Utrecht University.
