This is an homage to Roderick Leermaker's webcomic
Captain August,
which is all about the captain of a spaceship (indeed, his name is August).
Only problem is that the spaceship is so big that Captain August has never seen the
bridge, so he is on a semi-infinite journey through the ship's interior to find his chair-of-command.
However, year three of the webcomic diverted from the main storyline
and retold the classic epos Moby Dick,
but with the crew from the webcomic and a lot of changes.
The image I made is a 3D re-imagining of a picture from the comic and appeared as
a special 'episode'
after year three had finished.
